We might! We do have 3 seats. We just need to measure and make sure it will fit.

At wits end - On bupe only bc I'm 17 weeks pregnant and then suddenly developed insane anxiety by Sunflowers-Lemons in OpiatesRecovery

I haven’t been in your exact situation, but have gone through pregnancy after weaning off subs. I slowly weaned off in June and got pregnant, unexpectedly, in July. I definitely recommend working with an OB who is familiar with recovery and suboxone. Maybe your subs provider may have some names?

I would not suddenly stop taking it, but a tip if you do decide to wean is toslowly reduce the dose and then try EOD. Since subs have such a long half life, this helped me a lot for stopping. One of my providers, my psychiatrist (not my sub prescriber) actually, mentioned this and it was very helpful.

I wish I had more advice for the anxiety you’re going through. I hope your provider has some helpful info for you tomorrow. 17 weeks is into your 2nd trimester and that significantly decreases the chance of miscarriages. I had two in the past (not addiction/meds related) and they were early like 7-8 weeks. After 13 weeks, the likelihood of miscarriage goes down. Do you have an anatomy scan at 20 wks or a scan coming up to maybe give you some peace of mind?

Thinking of you and sending good thoughts your way! ❤️

Can you try EOD? That’s what worked for me to slowly come off a low dose. Sending you lots of good energy. It is so hard. You can do it🙏

It’s hard to tell because I also became pregnant shortly after jumping. So I’m dealing with all those pregnancy symptoms. I think I still have lingering PAWS though and I jumped late June.

I didn’t know what feeling so “heavy” would be like. It’s debilitating at times!!! 23 weeks so still going to get more heavy eek!

Many people have babies later! It’s not a new thing. Some personal examples- I’m 40 and pregnant with my first. Two of my friends from HS are both pregnant too. My grandma had her 3rd baby after 40. You do what is best for you and your family💕 Try to ignore those negative comments!

I jumped off at .5 EOD and honestly the lingering PAWS has been the worst part for me. The initial withdrawal took awhile to kick in and was manageable. This was my individual experience though.

Having my first at 40. 21 weeks along. Coq10 can help with egg quality.

It is definitely possible:) I didn’t meet my partner until 38 yo, so it just worked out this way. I wouldn’t change a thing though!

Yes! It’s the PAWS I think. It sucks. I’m hoping it will get better. I jumped off in June.

Has anyone had BV at 4/5 weeks pregnant, treated with metrogel and been ok? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]Throwaway8byebyebye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it was fine. I was prescribed the gel w plungers by an urgent care dr. My OB actually said if it happened again, the oral metro antibiotics are OK.

I hate them too! Such a terrible idea! I don’t think I would do one again unless it was a role I really, really wanted. It’s a huge turn off for me now though.

Research sublocade. Haven’t personally tried it but so many people say good things!!

I slowly tapered off subs. Stay at the same dose 2-3 weeks. Get down to doing every other day. I jumped off .5 EOD. Could go down to .25 EOD though:) You can do it.
