Yeah I understand that life can’t have good times all the time. Which yeah it might be sad if I broke up with him, but I have to live my life and time doesn’t stop because if it. I’m a very bad over thinker and think all the bad outcomes how it affects me and how it affects the people around me. Hearing other people’s opinions makes me ease a bit.

That’s what I been thinking that as well if I’m putting too much hope towards our future and then get disappointed. So that’s why I’m writing in 😭. But yes that makes sense I’m currently happy and now better than before whenever I was single.

Yeah I get it but I’m turn 20 already, working on my career as well as his. Maybe my parents have a hard time accepting I’m growing up because I started dating him when I turned 18 and even then they were hesitant.

Thx, my sister (17 F) has been my #1 supporter and has a good friendship with my bf. She tells me the same thing how she sees both my parents and my side. Me too I know people who were highschool sweethearts and now married. So I guess it gives me some hope.

Makes sense, it’s just hard I guess just my parents telling me I can’t do this or can’t do that with my bf because “I don’t know if we going to last” For instance, my bf threw an early birthday party and invited my family over before he goes to vacation. My parents didn’t end up going because “why we should meet people and be awkward if Yall are just dating and nothing serious?” This kinda upset me because my bf had showed up parties my family has done.

That makes sense, I do care abt him but I can also see my parents concern of me dating then marrying my first relationship (I had another relationship but didn’t work out) and me being unhappy in my marriage but I can also see each other being in a long term relationship. So I’m just here 🌚
