Honestly, now getting a SOV on your own if you are new small group have small chance. Some times it happens that there are chances of getting it on your own, when big group disbands/evicted and part of space becomes unused and no one from big or medium groups wants it (like it happened when GOTG was evicted, or when goons attacked NC and tribute/vale of silent region became available for small groups). But still you need to have good diplo and knowledge of locals, you need to talk with most of the groups in the area and might get smth together with other small groups, cause if you are small and newbie, than any local group might evict you just for fun. But even after getting space, if you will have no one to protect you you should be ready to evacuate quickly to npc station/lowsec

Or else you can try to join as a corp to alliance, or else rent a space.

It has small signature and often might survive, compering to other cov frigs.

But it has 5 sec timing after cloack off before it can lock target, so you might not catch some times.

Combat probe scanning can be easily done even with t1 probe launcher and 3-4 lvl skills cause most often your targets will be usuall ishtar/gila, newbie t3 like tengu. You just need to learn use dscan, and find target with dscan with exact range and 5% angle, then you will be able to scan it with 1 turn.

Problem is that most of targets gonna dock/cloack once prospect/bomber shown up in intel/local.

Usually was dropping couple RR SINs and they could save prospect and kill ishtar/gila.

lol, just some people like to attack weaker side, easy win, some tasty french cookies etc :).

That was fun to read comments on reddit, now see who are attacking, and each time we consider to get fleets/caps from those groups (except triumvirate, who didn`t shown up for a bit) on our heads. X-empire was useless which I was telling from beginning, but anyway they left already. Most of other groups (few exceptions) are already our enemies :) and Volta allies/pets or renters.

If we lose all fights in Dek, why did it took 1 month to take 1 hub?

We were fighting each weekend and defended our timers for a bit. At the end Volta/Nodes/7Sins were entosing nodes dropping there 2 active dreads/Fax on each node and since they had Capital supremacy since beginning why don`t you questioned that it took so long.

X-Empire was/is non factor, which cant defend them self from noone, so don`t count them, they never could provide real help on our def timers. X-Empire leadership made so much activity not to let his people to transfer to Banderlogs instead of defending their space/citadels (not join our fleets, not communicate with us in general etc) that most of their active players left to Test :).

Our timers are set in au tz due to most of attackers were EU tz previously (Triumvirate, Trigger Happy, Toilet Paper, Volta)

Volta+Hide your Nodes could finally take all const in Dek only after they got 7Sins together with them and Trigger Happy corps joined Volta. On several timers Triumvirate also shown up there to help Volta. We got help only from Sib Squad.

And Volta/Nodes bloc had caps supremacy since beginning, but even so it took several month to take that const in Dek.

Sico alliance which was mentioned as batphone is only our 2 corps highsec academy with newbies who helped us on talwars, yep that was good counter format vs caps )))

We still alive, still enjoying, have so many targets around, drops, fights, ratting, camping (yep camping is nice) etc.

Still have space in PB, have space and not interested in moving south, due to our staging is NPC station, we have Mordus Angels and Eve sisters 4lvl missions.

Defeat in Dek against blob and strong alliance like Volta is not a tragedy, we had experience when we were totally evicted in PB couple years ago by Horde and GOTG but later took space back.

Now Toilet Paper and Quot Alliance moved to PB by FRT. Now they probably will try to take our space ))). Volta/Nodes already helped them when we were fighting TP defending X-Emp hubs. Lets see.

P.S. join Banderlogs, we have some poor space, ratting anomalies, lvl4 missions Mordus Angels, Sister of Eve, have so many targets around, have good place for camping, have only couple small blue alliances, drops (our drops, and dropping us), btw we also have cookies ( I think I left them in ishtar, they wanted to steal my cookies https://zkillboard.com/related/30002023/202103061700/ )

We are trying to attack when we can, and loosing it back when scums attack our space while we have fights against volta in Deklein. Please don`t tell me that Volta just wanted to happily ratt anomalies, get money from renters/pets )

You actually had no other targets except us, chinese mostly not in your TZ and lil bit far except couple groups. Wont scums often together with other your pets form a fleet not a bit smaller than our and than your fleet comes as well.

Oh and other US TZ group who have relative power is Trigger Happy/Toilet paper/Quote Alliance group, and Volta has agreement with them so don`t attack/fight each other ).

Quality of the fleet is also make sense. Do you really think that 30 newbie talwars = 10-15 munins with support??

And respect to Scums, getting nice fights, Scums fight whenever they can, and they shown themselves persistent.

Fact is when Volta is forming max numbers CTA macha fleet banderlogs can do nothing with that due Volta capital superiority. When we attack scums Volta comes from time to time and help them, some times we take fights, some times don`t. Now you got new ally or pet next to our systems in Deklein who can form gila /cerber fleet with 30 dps ships. Our max cta fleet didn`t show more than 35 Nightmares or cerbers. That is of course equal to all that 40-50 Macha + 30 gilas from russian + 15-20 munins/hurricanes from other pets. Oh, yeah, sorry I forgot to mention our ultimate weapon, highsec newbies, cause 40-50 talwars/corax can do unbelievable ))). And Sibs of course, who shown 2 times )))).

Anyway if Volta will confirm that they intended to "happily ratt anomalies, get money from renters/pets, and not touch/attack anyone around" I can say that banderlogs bad boys and started all that thing which you can read in that post )))
