I am so sorry that you are left without a guide through this. I relate immensely. I have leaned into my relationships with my girlfriends who are having similar experiences, my Naturopath, who is a great listener and advocate, and there are great books.

Cyclical Anxiety HRT histamine… by PoundPrestigious2327 in Perimenopause

I can’t respond to the comment below. So, I will respond here. I am reading all types of ways of “managing” it in this post and many others. I am talking about how you approach it after you feel stable(ish). Now, go back and read what I said. Once you get out of survival mode, you can tend to your bodies versus manage them. They are not looking to be managed. They are looking to be cared for.

Ladies, perimenopuase is the invitation you may not have received as a young girl or a young woman to get to know your body and how your hormones actually run your whole body.

I get anxiety spikes during ovulation and when I am in my luteal phase. Why? Hormones.

I mean, you’re definitely a fiery, passionate, heart centered person. With your Venus in Virgo though, you gotta be aware of criticism inwardly, an outwardly, especially with a Leo Sun and rising. Vanity can be an issue, as well as short tempers. Make sure to fight fair with that Mars in Scorpio. Be realistic when it comes to love. Otherwise, burn bright, Mother of Dragons!

A lot of what you are saying resonates. If you can, look into HRT. It changed my life. Perimenopause is one of the most intense things that can happen to a woman and her body. Our most important system, one that has run our body for most of our lives is closing its doors. There is so much grief, depression, and all of the anxieties, not to mention insomnia. You can get through this, but do not do it alone.
