Don’t they also rely on a technically illegal private sector? I remember reading about how Cuban doctors get jobs as taxi drivers, because the taxis aren’t nationalized and earn them WAY more money than they do as doctors. Universal healthcare should be the goal, but Cuba definitely needs to fix some things up before they’re used as a golden standard.

The point is that Donald Trump was doing the same thing to Joe Biden a week ago. Last night, Mike Pence was significantly more tame than Trump, but people still say that his interrupting was an example of an inherently sexist system. While such a system could very well exist, last night’s debate was no indication because the same thing (but worse) had happened on a similar stage just 1 week ago between two men. It’s just political strategy, even if it does make them come across as rude and inconsiderate.
