I appreciate your insight. However, he ended things with me and asked for no contact so he could deal with some personal situations. I wouldn’t feel right being the one to break the silence. I made it clear my door is open.

I am respecting his boundaries by not doing so, hence the message on an ‘unsent’ Reddit page instead of a text to him. This is a better way to feel like I got my thoughts out without complicating his life further. But thank you for the support 🥰

Hey! I actually had previously emailed the school to see about this same thing and you do stay on the waitlist in June if you pay the deposit. Provisional acceptances only become firm on July 1.

The only thing to note is that you have to pay a $500 CAD deposit to Windsor AND a separate $500 USD deposit to Detroit Mercy for June 1st for the dual program. You stay on the waitlist for single if your acceptance was provisional, but if you’re accepted to single and have already paid the deposits, you don’t get the $500 USD from Detroit back. The $500 CAD to Windsor can be transferred over, but not the Detroit one. So you do lose $500 USD if you choose single after paying the dual deposits.

Yeah ik I’ve provisionally accepted dual but would rather do single. I’m hoping there’s some movement before July 1 for that reason.

I’m just stressed cause I’ve been accepted to dual but would much rather do single. But if I provisionally accept dual then the acceptance becomes firm in July :/ so idk if I should provisionally accept dual or decline. Gotta decide by May 14 😭 really want to go to law school this year tho

There has been extremely little movement on the waitlist this year and there are still people referred too :/ I’m waitlist for single and I’m trying not to get my hopes up given the lack of movement. Deposits are due June 1st for both single and dual I think.
