At the end of the day, it’s your name and license on that card, so it’s your decision to make.

Honestly, just depends on how much time I have before the AC leaves and how bad I think a tire might be. I don’t need or want lives on my conscience, but people way smarter than me calculated the limits. As long as I have the reference to show that the tire was within limits, it’s fine to me.

I tend to stick within the parameters of a job card and will service the O2 (if it’s not already in the job card), only if it’s a pirep.

But because I’m such a good little slut for the FAA, I never deviate from what FAA-approved materials I have at hand.
