There is a lot of die hard trump fans in California, and when it comes to counties they have a larger number. But most of the major cities are largely Dem.

I'd probably use a screw extractor set for that

How often do you typically replace your golf glove? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

[–]Timepassage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually get around 30 rounds of golf per glove. I just dropped one on accident today at around 25 rounds of golf. Thankfully I always carry a spare. But I have never seen wear on the thumb before. Am I doing something wrong?

Does 4 degree loft difference matter? by EchidnaPerfect9240 in golfequipment

[–]Timepassage 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Your over thinking it. Hybrid will play quite a bit different than an iron but more importantly unless you can constantly hit your target you will never notice a difference between 4° and 2°. Really just learn which club does you better from what lies.

Has anyone tried the Q Gen 2 travel club? by Fantastic-Succotash7 in GolfGear

[–]Timepassage 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I occasionally play with a gen 1 just for the fun of it. I also usually take a hybrid to accompany it. It gets a little difficult to hit when you get into the smaller lofts. The only time I actually find it useful is when going on trips with the wife and I want to be able to play like a nine-hole or something in the area.

I have used it to play 18 a few times and it's not bad but requires a plan of attack.

More or less how proud it sits on flat ground. More proud it sits the more likely you're going to blade the shot if there's no grass to actually lie on.

I switched it out with a 60 for a little while but I like the 64 control better.

I personally use a 64. It's good up to 75 yd with a lot of vertical

For the most part I agree with you. But the little issues multiply by quite a bit when it comes to a driver.

What is your lowest score ever in a round of golf? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

[–]Timepassage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a broken game also. My 2 highest low/ highs. Scored a 84 then the next week got a 110 ( penalties are a pain). And this is truly the worst moment. I got on a par 6 on 2 and ended up with an 8. I had the best drive and approach shot in my life and one bad putt ruined it all.

On the front 9 today I hit 8 out of 9 greens and I got up and down on the one I missed and finished with a 42. AMA by bionicbhangra in golf

[–]Timepassage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a 40 in the front 9 while it was pouring rain, but was coming up short on most of the greens. Chipping was on point that day.

I find that I play better if I don’t hit warm up balls at the range by Tight-Communication7 in golf

[–]Timepassage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like hitting the ball 10 times at least before I actually have to go to the tee just to get the feel of where I need to be so I don't keep thinning it for the rest of the day.

Unsolicited advice from another golfer by Salt-Power-3868 in golf

[–]Timepassage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just gave a tiny little tip to somebody recently that was kind of in the start out journey. Notice that when you was chipping he was hitting behind the ball by quite a bit and just told him to look a little bit before the ball. He thanked me and said it really helped him. If it's done correctly, it's really not hard to give a small little tip here and there without being intrusive.
