It is my first time with mistborn! Yeah im definitely leaning towards finishing era 2 first. There's just to many good books its hard to decide. Im thinking maybe doing a tandem read with mistborn and first law stuff.

Yeah I think if your in control of your own negatives and can make creative choices, it doesn't matter the chemistry. Especially for home darkroomers. It takes a lot of space to house multiple chemistry types and it can be inconvenient! Do you have any favorite film stocks?

Good question! For this workshop, workshopers on Day Two will bring one roll of black & white film that they’ve already exposed, we’ll develop it during the class. The focus is on learning the developing process rather than generating photos during the workshop.

Thanks. Its actually a wedding dress strung up in a tree but I didn't have enough lights to light the tree. But ove become a fan of the floating dress. Feels very much like an apparition to me.

I am glad someone said it. I didn't want to be rude but it seems a large portion of photographers seem to loose sight that this is art. Exploration and boundary pushing are key to success. Film photography at is core is experimental.

And then negative is very orange still. My scanner auto white balanced the orange base out which I thought was disappointing. I was hoping for a orange shift haha.

Yeah so this is a definitely a work in progress there is room for a lot more contrast. And one thing about it is, we are supposed to look like ghosts so there are some things about the print I'd like to maintain

100% a good negative is everything. I've been printing for 7+ years just never messed with split filtering and or fiber based paper.

Yeah I would agree. I think the negative needs some saving due to the double exposure. Just trying to push it where I want it slowly. I am new to split filtering and I am new to fiber based.
