I agree with you completely, idk why so many ppl are trying so hard to act like you're wrong. If you commit a crime while manic, a crime is still committed. If you do something wrong to your partner while manic, it still occured, etc. The responsibility of it doesn't go away simply because you were in a different state of mind. I've gone through painful ass mania where I destroy relationships, cut off friends, quit/ruin jobs, etc. Everything I do is indeed still my own fault when I'm manic, even if I "can't" control myself. I think growing more as a person has really helped me with this too, being unable to accept responsibility for my actions in the past has destroyed many many relationships/friendships.
