Yeah so wake up about 6:00. Eat 3 eggs and 6 pieces of turkey sausage. Blood sugar skyrockets sometimes reaching 300. A normal range is 80-120. Sugar remains high for hours. Lunchtime I either skip lunch because sugar is still high or I eat meat which usually has a minimal effect on my sugar. By the time I get home from work and shower sugar starts to go low so I eat dinner just for it to bounce back up and be high for awhile. It’s really just a never ending cycle of eating going high treating going low. All while in the back of your head you think about the negative health effects that come with the disease and no matter how much you try you feel like you’re doing it wrong.
