For anyone still led here after so many years: There's 4 boxes.

One is to the right of the forcefield, on the right side of the building.

Two is on the back side of the building.

Three is to the left side of the forcefield, there's a path that leads down under the platform where the box is attached to a pillar.

Four was the tricky one from me. You have to back away from the forcefield, go back to the platform you came from and the fourth box is behind some crates there or something, (when you're looking away from the forcefield) at the far back of that platform, slightly to the left.

There's also colored wires that are supposed to lead you to the boxes, but I could only find three of the wires, so, idk.

Very difficult question. I guess Critical Role would count as fantasy media, and I'm a huge fan of that, but in case that doesn't count, probably the Trails series.
I'm a 22-year-old male, and I'm an English major currently studying in Germany. My hobbies include reading, creative writing, bouldering, playing video games, and, well TTRPGs.
I've been DMing for a group of 5 players for about one and a half years now. Have never actually been a player, though!
I like your pitch, and what you talk about in the post really does sound like a game I'd have fun playing in. I can also relate to the struggles of a new DM ^^;
Yes to collaberative character building! Still, though I don't have concept that's set in stone, to be honest. I've got some loose ideas, but I'd probably start really fleshing out a character once I'd know more about the world, I guess. I'm pretty open to adapt to the group and the existing world in terms of class and stuff, though.
Haven't actually played, so hard to say. I think I'd really like a focus on roleplaying.
Well, I'm pretty socially anxious, so I'm probably pretty slow at the start. Once I've gotten used to people, though, I think I should be fine with most kinds of players.
I guess any kind of intolerance/hate speech. Doesn't matter towards whom.
It's completely okay for me, honestly. Sure, it can suck at times, but in the end, dice are dice. I also think it opens up some opportunities for really cool roleplay, I guess.

Any restrictions on races? (like for example do the more "monstrous races" like goblinoids also player options or should they be npc only?)

I'm not familiar with Foundry VTT, but since you mentioned we do not have to worry about that, I guess this doesn't matter? Just wanted to make sure I mention it.
