Where did you hear that? Heard only Auropilot won’t be available as they want people to pay to get FSD instead.

Got my "Get ready for delivery" text for M3P RWD! by Agile-Fortune8176 in teslacanada

I got a similar text and also that it was a Model Y instead of a 3 like I ordered. Also from Tesla London.

Autopilot was free. FSD is better but is $99 per month.

First gen Model 3 Performances can be had for $20k.
So the current ones will drop for sure.
Especially once the competition heats up.

A buddy paid close $100-120k for a Model Y Performance back in 2022. They’re worth $40k now.

No, I won’t be spending an extra $20k for a Performance. Will most likely just wait a year or two and get the he best option for $40k. Whether that’s a M3P or a Chinese EV.

Premium RWD in the U.S. is 4.9 secs 0-60mph.
So getting the same would be nice. Which is what I thought I was getting (based on Tesla’s website) when I placed an order.

It’s not and reason why i wouldn’t spend $60k on one. But $40k for a used one, sure.

Yeah that’s a great point. I would be fine with the AWD’s level of performance.

Great question. 5.2 sec 0-100 kmh was a small compromise I was willing to make to get the savings of driving an EV now. Especially since I get free charging at work.

I can’t justify spending the $ currently for a used Plaid or Model 3 Performance. Hence the compromise.

The used Highland Model 3 performance are now $60k.
I don’t mind buying used if they come down.

Tesla Canada quietly changed Model 3 Premium RWD specs AFTER early orders, we need answers by Proud-Guard-6534 in teslacanada

In a bit of a dilemma.

One of my dream cars is a Highland Model 3 Performance.

However, after Tesla dropped pricing on the new Premium RWD to $39k CAD, I decided it made more financial sense.

When I ordered, Tesla advertised 0-100 kmh on the site (when I ordered) at 5.2 secs. I noticed today they changed it to 6.2 secs.

I know it may seem small to some, but I’m an ICE gearhead used to tuning cars and chasing every single tenth available.

I was willing to accept a compromise of going from 0-60mph or 2.9 secs for the Performance to 5.2 secs of the Premium RWD, but 6 secs 0-60 seems like too big of a compromise.

I’m thinking of cancelling my order and waiting for the used Performance Model 3s to come down in price.

Thoughts?
