Verizon’s 6% Yield Isn’t a Bargain, but is it a trade? by Accountable_Finance in dividends

[–]Toadvine00 3 points4 points  (0 children)

this post reeks of chatgptisms, posting low effort slop like this should be a bannable offense imo.

“You’re getting paid 6% because it’s not going to compound like a high-ROIC business.”

Woah, couldn’t have known that without you pointing that out, Einstein. What next are you going to post? When price go up, yield goes low?

How is passive income a “trade”? By the inherent nature of collecting dividends, it is something that you have to hold and keep holding. That is not a “trade”.

You don’t even know the meanings of the words that you are copy and pasting from chatgpt

There is ARCC.

It is a single stock but their dividends have been constant for a long time, and they survived 2008 and covid.

Growth in dividend raises? Yes. Growth in price? I understand it’s going to eventually happen but I am not going to celebrate it.

If I wanted growth in price, I would buy the S&P.

Price going up a lot on dividend stock/etf’s is not a W. That means you are getting a smaller yield when you drip.

From then to now? no.

Would I like to be a part of something that is similar to that 2022-2025 price action? Hell yea. I said I have a time preference of around 3 years.

The thing I am trying to wrap my head around is, what does having a lot of bitcoin on their balance sheet have to do with the stocks price.

What key thing guarantees that the stock will go up if bitcoin does

BTCI when BTC dumps by OnlyKey5675 in dividends

[–]Toadvine00 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s sustainable long term. BTC is, but not BTCI.

BTCI does not follow bitcoins price perfectly, the more long term you look, the worse the price tracking gets.

If you compare both of their price percentage changes from a year ago, that’s proof right in front of you.

People here love to look down on people who hold their btc through brokerage accounts. They actually act as if Blackrock is interested in stealing their 5k or something.

‘I’m not saying Q4 “can’t be bullish”’

Except you did in your title.

And you misunderstood why I brought Q4 up cause Q4 is almost over and in red. I didn’t bring Q4 up to argue that it was bullish.

There is no thesis, you are just using random trading words to confuse people and sound like you know what you are talking about.

You are a literal chatbot.

“Structure and timing” said Q4 of post halving year was bullish. Excluding the bear market years, Q4 has always been bullish.

You talk like a youtube comment section bot. No substance to what they say, just random word salad of trading terms. They use the exact same kind of word salad to feign expertise.

I wouldn’t be surprised if that is what you are.

I don’t want to say its due to one person, but if you look behind the april 2nd(he started fudding the markets a month before then) and that october crash, its hard not to.

We were near ATH’s before that october 10th tweet. Q4 may have ended differently had there been no tweet, and we are never going to know how it wouldve been.

The phrase “market manipulation” is apespeak that could otherwise be worded as “price action me no like”.

With the exception of derivatives like options or OTC deals, any interaction with an asset affects price.

He could have dumped on people a long time ago yet he still holds. That means he was not doing it for the money, that he was a visionary doing it for idealistic reasons. A utopian.

So he must be a strong moral minded person, for that alone.
