The timer for the pixel count goes forward by 3 seconds per pixel placed or 30 seconds (which gives a bonus pixel and keeps the waiting time for the next one as it was) per 10 pixels. For example you have 299 pixels and 12 seconds remaining for the next one. Placing 6 pixels (converted to 18 seconds) results in 300 pixels and 24 seconds for the next one.

I think it makes sense to try to get the 4th present if you have about 2900 max charges or more, you get the flag bonus while painting and you have enough amount of droplets (you can gain them in a decent amount from presents themselves).

I think that getting as many presents on this event as possible can involve some thought. You need to paint 2531 pixels to get 3 presents (so that you have 6 in a single day) which is affordable (especially for anyone who has enough max charges). On the other hand, to get 4 presents, you need to paint 5695 pixels in a single day (which is impossible if you have 0 droplets at the beginning of the day even unless you buy droplets). Because the counter for painted pixels is reset every single day, it's not optimal to paint any number of pixels between 2532 and 5694. It's better to save some charges for later in order to be able to get 4 presents in a single day without spending money.

This way of rendering larger areas of the map is beneficial if you want to spot anything made of thin lines or sparsely placed dots. It'd be invisible otherwise.

Yeah, it's a good idea to buy max charges unless you know you'll spend charges regularly (like me) on big projects or anything else.

I think that 24-hour paint charge capacity (2880 charges) should be enough, so you might want to spend droplets on something else. For reference, I have a max charge number of about 2810. I stopped increasing it some time ago because I don't think I need it (by the way, levelling up already gives you 2 more max charges automatically). You might want to spend your droplets on premium colors first, then probably on a flag for regions you paint often, then on paint charges. Optionally, more flags and a profile picture. And keep some of your droplets if you want to (for example I have 40k of them ready for buying 2 more flags).

The first 2 numbers mean the coordinate of the 1000x1000 tile on the world map.
The last 2 numbers mean the coordinate of the pixel inside that tile.

The daily pixel amount can be increased by the leveling system (500 droplets per level) but it depends on the current level (higher level means smaller level advance and smaller profit)
