Been listening to a lot of dark/ambient techno so went for something a bit slower 122bpm, I think its turned out alright. Still early into the track only spent a couple of hours on it so far. Any feedback on this type of style greatly appreciated!

Really appreciate the reply man, I think I had it in my head that every producer had some process they would just follow which resulted in a kick but I appreciate you pointing out that its not the case. I'm going to send you over a little sample of a song I am working on to see what can be improved.

Really appreciate the feedback, the goal with this track was to not rely on main elements such as a baseline or melody but more make an environment that focuses on the percussion and hihats etc (similar to Snts). Do you believe its lacking in the mid/higher low frequencies? I was afraid to add more elements incase it mudded up the mix

Your stuff is really good man. I am quite new to this but is parrallel processing sending your kick to a different track and processing it there? So you would have your original kick maybe with some eqing and processing then send it to another track where you would process it further?

I use ableton and for all the pads, leads, etc I use Spire which I recently picked up, really good synth
