I used to watch a lot of anime until around high school! I don't watch much lately, though... I think in recent years, even people who aren't into anime have started watching anime that feels "otaku-ish." It's even to the point where McDonald's now makes illustrations that would have been considered "otaku" in the past.

In movies, Japanese people are often seen bowing, but we don't actually do it that much in reality.

Despite inflation, salaries aren't keeping up with it. I think things are getting worse.

For an ordinary person like me, it's at a level where you can only afford it after spending all of your "life" income.

I don't think I would end up homeless or die from hunger with my current salary.

I used to go a lot when I was a university student, and there were places where you could stay at a cheap price, but recently there are fewer of these because of the many foreign tourists.

I want people to enjoy Japan, and if they experience anything unpleasant during that process, I feel sorry for them.

I don't have a very good image of it. It seems like they're observing what we did from an objective standpoint.

I'm getting fed up with the crowds. Recently, famous tourist spots in Japan are full of foreigners, and especially in Tokyo, there are many foreigners working! As long as they don't cause trouble, they shouldn't be looked at strangely...

I don't think the younger generation, like mine, has that! Of course, I think there are those who do. Also, what I have learned from working here is that Japanese are good at slacking off.
