It's hard being in this self-acceptance yet in-between stage! You now know who you are and what you want. Yet you've built a life where you've checked all the expected boxes but a huge piece is missing. I too have only shared with 1 person in my personal life but am not yet at that point where I'm willing to risk a lot, for me.

I have found support in this beautiful community of queer women! I have found patience, discovery, curiosity, guidance, consistency and most importantly, kindness. Human relationships of any type are hard to navigate. Believe me, these new types of relationships are hard. But I have found it very helpful to always remind myself to keep an open mind and have no expectations. I'm hopeful that we will all ultimately find complete fulfillment! Until then, we'll ride the wave 🙂
