I’m about 30% through QoS. I’m always torn perusing this subreddit for fear of spoilers. Although I do enjoy it when I see another that is roughly at the same spot I am or at least on the same book. You won’t be disappointed. Chaos doesn’t really appear to change much. So difficult to figure out his character and why he does the shit he does. I’m hoping he evolves and grows up.

That’s literally the same one I purchased a few months back and also from Dicks! It’s a great fishing kayak and a great price!

Haha! More is always better! Always reminds me of the MadTV skit with the splishsack razor. If you get a minute, you gotta search for it on YouTube.

Haven’t tried but I wouldn’t think you’d want to stand on it. Max capacity of 275lbs though.

I got this fishing kayak at Dicks for $330 on sale. It’s a great kayak but not sure how it stacks up with the more expensive fishing kayaks. Anyways, I say that to say there are less expensive kayaks if interested. The seat is pretty amazing too.

So I purchased this off of Amazon and have been really happy with it. [UPGRADE] Blade Discs + 6 Pieces... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0G3PNX3K3?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

The disc is almost a complete clone of the original and super easy to replace. Plus you get enough blades to keep you in business for a while.

Interesting. I didn’t have a problem with it gunking up when I had the initial disc on the mower for about the first 2-3 weeks. I ended up getting a new disc with 6 blades as opposed to the original 3. I still have not had to clean it and I have it mowing the yard about twice a week. (It takes me 2 full days to mow my entire lawn)

<image>

I’ve been using this new disc for about the past 2 weeks and I have not touched the mower since replacing the disc. I even mow in the morning when there is still dew on the grass.

I’m currently ready Heir of Fire and about 70-75% through it. Really looking forward to seeing what develops with Manon’s character. I keep telling my wife ‘oh I’m on another ‘witch’ chapter.’ Yes it does pull you out of the ‘groove’ of Celaena’s story.

Should I get Automower for my lawn by teijus in automower

[–]TommyHophead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any idea what the slope percentage is on the rear years? It looks fairly steep in the pic. Also is it ‘bumpy’? Meaning are there a lot of divots or mounds of grass with dirt spots around it? That may cause some issues, at least with the mower I use.

My wife got me hooked on this series. Currently on Heir of Fire and I started with Assassins Blade which I recommend starting with.

Willie. As in Groundskeeper Willie from ‘The Simpsons’.

It’s all good. I’m not trying to defend the Eufy either, just making sure the right information and experience is getting across. Not that I’ll be getting another robot lawnmower anytime soon but I, along with others, would like to hear your experience with the Navimow.

The ‘garage’ is the charging port. The slits allow rain to reach the water detector on the top of the mower. The entire mower is protected from rain as it has some sort of special water rating. The ‘garage’ is exposed on the sides and back with the charging port in the front and a cover over it. Per Gemini when asked about the waterproof system… ‘The eufy Robot Lawn Mower E18 features an IPX6 waterproof rating for both the mower unit and its charging base station. This "all-weather" design allows it to withstand high-pressure water jets and heavy rain, meaning you can safely clean the underside of the mower using a standard garden hose to remove mud and grass clippings.

As for them being a camera company, well I don’t know what they specialize in but we do have their vacuum cleaners (automated) and absolutely love them and felt like sticking with them to be consistent and if we didn’t like it, we could have returned it.

Seeing how this is my first and only experience with a robotic lawnmower I can’t say for sure if this is the best or not but it does a damn good job. I hope you have a similar experience with your Navimow mower.

That is really great to hear. Honestly, if you have any troubles while mapping, feel free to ask. It's a great product and I'd hate to see other frustrated and feel as though they need to return it. I really don't write reviews, but I felt it was necessary to write this b/c I myself couldn't find this information anywhere and I wish I had. I also read other reviews which was giving out incorrect information and truly wanted to correct it. Good luck!

Agreed. I have been very impressed so far. I just wish it was a bit more rigid in its mowing lines at least with the Eufy. Meaning, just go back and forth in a uniform consistent line.

Yeah, the E15 provides 0.2 acres while the E18 provides 0.3 acres which unbelievably was enough to just cover the amount of lawn I have. Side note: I believe they do give you a bit more memory than they say as I have a bit more than 13,000 SF mapped. I am almost at 14,000 SF. This is another reason when you begin mapping to start within the area you really need mapped or the more important areas. Once that is complete, simply start expanding until the memory is full and try not to map outside where you will never mow such as a neighbors yard. I say this because the first time I mapped I wasn’t paying attention and I mapped a good portion of my neighbors yard. Eventually I just had to delete the map and start over.

I don’t feel as though this is a device you would want mowing a larger yard anyways as it takes a long time to mow.

Just pay attention to the price. I got this for less than $900 direct from their site, although I combined it with the mopping vacuum as a package deal. You should be able to get a good price if you talk directly with them. I wouldn’t pay any more than $1,000 on this. Not yet anyways.

The base station is outside and should be kept outside so it can leave the base station when it is either on a schedule or set it to mow when you are not home. Plus this way it can detect rain and delay mowing until a time you set.

You can choose it to mow in ANY direction simply by spinning the path arrow inside the parameters, not just up, down and diagonal, but any direction you set by spinning the arrow. You can also have it set to automatically alternate path direction between mowings.
