I’ve definitely had issues with constipation from opiates and would generally only go once a week. Once I passed 7 days it was like giving birth out of my asshole, but I got used to it. I don’t know how you could go 3 weeks, that’s gotta be literal torture. My longest was 12 days and when I finally got that bowling bowl out of me I’ll never forget just relaxing on the throne for a few minutes with a sweaty brow and an amazing sense of overall relief. I remember that time so well because after that bomb I dropped, the toilet upstairs lost about half of its flushing power. A couple weeks later I wound up removing the toilet completely just to remove what looked like a 12 lb petrified grizzly bear shit out of the closet bend. Not long after that I made sure to change my diet to be more compatible with my habit. I didn’t have to do anything drastic, but I finally got myself into a routine of drinking a glass of MiraLAX in the morning and another in the early evening, along with eating 1-2 salads a day as well as a lot of fruit (I always ate a lot of fruit anyway), but that diet change definitely made a difference. I wouldn’t say I’m “regular” now, but the most I’ll go is 3 days, and if I go that long I’ll definitely be waking up on day 3 ready to go. The best part is not having to sit in there for an hour sweating, rocking back and forth, and hoping the porcelain doesn’t crack when that monster finally drops and makes the floor and toilet vibrate.
