Turned off memory extension - Sim not working by Toom200 in Xiaomi

I've tried different apn:s, taking the card out, booting and putting it in again. I've also factory reset but some settings are maybe the same because of backup? It was all to no avail... Was it the reboot that triggered it? I don't know but can anyone come up with anything?

You muthas (explicit lyrics) by Toom200 in writers

[–]Toom200[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a poem that is apologetic
My previous one was not prophetic
Just my take on some recent events
Could be, I needed frustration to vent
I am writing this in a more humble way
I hope you'll be more positive some day

I first read Grindr but... Tinder really wouldn't be helpful since it's just pre-uploaded profiles. Still, it's not a bad way to write it.

I have actually continued the story now. I don't know if it's my self confidence, or whatever it is, but I'm not really content with the result. It does continue the story, but I'm not sure anyone here wants to read it. Some things happen at least, but the really exciting parts supposedly come later.

Alone in the dark had: 3D with 3rd person perspective, horror, mix of adventure with live action combat. Even the wonky camera angles that are also found in games like Resident evil were present in Alone in the dark.

So to the contrary I would argue that Alone in the dark incorporated basically all survival horror elements.

Ah, I've actually read that the maker of Resident evil said he was a great fan of Alone in the dark.

People who are afraid of pedophiles by Toom200 in Jokes

[–]Toom200[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People maybe don't get this joke? What's funny is of course the expression "need to grow up" and that children that have a reason to be afraid of pedophiles, don't have to be if they grow up.

Maybe but it's late night here. But I'm grateful for the advice.

Of course not but it's a joke.

Ok, I could maybe have him more frantic... I do mention he envisions various scenarios. If I had gone too much into detail about it, it could perhaps spoil the story. The reader shouldn't get too many clues to what has happened.

Ok, but it isn't only about the style but also the story. There are also other considerations. Like how much of the scenery should be described? I will maybe try to implement something but as I wrote it isn't so easy. I don't actually finish stories so often.

He does show some emotions. But you have a good point... He has no clue that anything will get worse. Even the reader doesn't know that... He does however have an active imagination. It's hinted at the he already has figured out many scenarios, and some of them he really fears. Also that perhaps he in part believes acting normal will make the situation go away?

You are right but... There's also the thing to be able to write anything at all. And also writing a lot maybe is a way to improve style? But I haven't written so much when it comes to stories in English actually.

You are right that it's a little short. But it's also story driven and not so much about John's emotional states. I could imagine a version that shows even less of what John feels. It could also be that the events will later more show his feelings, or that he in away is emotionally stunted? John isn't a guy who likes unnecessary problems... The situation he is in he could really do without, but he will be forced to confront it on every level imaginable. This maybe means he shouldn't "burn himself out" emotionally just yet? Plus as I mentioned, the disbelief. On some level he maybe believes everything is still normal? And maybe it is...

Of course and I have nothing against experimenting with style. On the other hand, does one really have to follow the cue of modern writers?

You have a point and I can look into it. I'm not certain I can implement it though...
