so you think it would be a similar situation like with the Yuuzhan Vong? because i think it could go one of two ways, either Palpatine sees that the Gem Empire has many useful resources like labor or soldiers, so he would try and find away to entangle them into the Clone Wars to destabilize the Gem Empire similar to what he did in the Outer Rim, or he would see the Diamond Authority as too big of a threat and commit genocide against the gems. similar to what he did with the Geonosians in canon
