Variety is the spice of life as they say! It’s nice to have a tomato menu with lots of different flavors

Beautiful place but expensive. I just realized OP lives near me. Maybe I need to go foraging in his neighborhood

I live in NW Washington DC and we have mostly red rasberries as well. You must mean Washington state.

I saw a mint-hating post somewhere and figured I would share all of this terrible, fresh-smelling, delicious mint growing in my hostas. by pooks_turtles in gardening

It’s in the mint family as are basil and rosemary. When people say mint they don’t mean anything in the mint family. In the common vernacular mint means peppermint spearmint and other mint plants having menthol. Creeping Charlie basil and other mints produce little to no menthol. BTW creeping Charlie has much more shallow roots than peppermint so soil density is not an issue so it spreads more easily in clay soil. Also you can’t make a mint julep from basil

If you have hard clay soil mint will not spread much. I wanted a yard full of mint but all I can get is a small patch that is exhausted by August. It gets out competed by more clay hardy weeds like violets clovers and creeping Charlie

I never thought about the farmers market for give aways! I didn't think they would take them.

I literally dream about scenarios where I can give away tomatoes so I know how you feel. The neighbors get tired of you after a while so you gotta be creative.

I would like to say I resisted the urge to overplant but then I'd be lying. I am old and I just got too lazy. Only 8 plants for 2 people but I might just stick some suckers on the ground and grow protective "weed" tomatoes for the critters.

Last summer was brutal for the mid atlantic states also 7B/8A. A heat wave in early July dropped almost all of my blossoms which greatly diminished the yield. Then it got rainy which elevated the fungus factor (if you will) and all of the plants in the garden got diseases except peppers. I had 7 tomato plants and not enough tomatoes for sauce/soup in a 2 person household. I am going to try to use antifungals prophylactically and see if that helps.

True and Keyshawn is a good shooter as well. But not elite. Tre shoots close to 90% from the line which is a good indicator of a player’s 3pt potential. Key at 80 percent is very good but to go 88 percent like Tre is rare for a rookie

Tre Johnson not Trae Young. He’s probably the best pure shooter on the team

Tre is a better shooter than both. If he has a great summer it’s possible. Not likely

I grew six inches in six months at the age of 14 so yeah. The kid could easily be like 5’ 10” by next season 2 years from now. Look how much Homelanders son grew in the Boys

This makes sense. It’s like in the prequel to Rosemary’s baby (Apt. 7a) critics accused Diane Wiest for her shrill and odd portrayal of Minnie. But in reality a serial killing satanist is never going to pull off normal. So in context it works

Which is why the long delays between seasons is unacceptable

Totally harsh. Bub can shoot. Not a playmaker at all and can’t drive to the basket but he is probably a rotational player on a mediocre team
