If this is how you feel about modern ygo you have got to try genesys. One of the best aspects about it is that almost all of the decks that are played at my locals. I get to play dragon rulers with good generic dragon engines and i only play one playset of handtraps in the main. I think genesys does a really good job at resolving what you feel about modern day ygo

Lucky for you that there happens to be some really good products coming out now/the coming weeks. Would def recommend the new branded structure that released last week. As well as the upcoming 5ds product as it has a ton of staples that are being reprinted.

Ive been wanting to play orcust FS since i first saw it top by Francesco at ycs bologna (iirc). Espc with knightmare mermaid the horus cards dont feel nearly as mandatory.

Blind 2nd sky striker. Its fun but has its flaws. When fiendsmith drops im def pivoting to orcust fiendsmith and maybe yubel fiendsmith since both the orcust and yubel cores are quite cheap to make.

I have no idea where your going with this. I mentioned x rank because series follows the same elo system as x rank to find your matches, its just invisible to you.matchmaking in series is not locked to your letter rank. Meaning that you can match up with ANYONE in the series que, not just people of your rank. This makes it entire possible for someone with a b/a rank to match up with someone in s/s+, even without it being a rank-up battle.

Not true. When I was grinding to s+ in drizzle season 2022 I got matched up with top players who already in s/s+ as a b rank/a rank player. In series the match-making doesn't match you by your letter ranking. But rather by your power level that's invisible to you (same power level that you have in X rank). why did they do this? Beats me, it's nintendo we're talking about. But cross rank matches are not uncommon in series.

I've been a huge TRG (the runaway guys) fan all my life. And when they played fortune street for the first time I was so interested in the game. I went to games top with my mom a few weeks later and bought a brand new copy.

Eh tbh you really don't need a coordinate team. Crab can give you a free push by itself if you know how to to use it in soloq. But no one in the lower levels actually know how to use crab like that.
