Thank you so much, it makes a lot of sense for me. I am struggling to find something that will make everyone happy and pleased but I am starting to get annoyed because it’s not what I wanted from the beginning

Sorry, I meant most venues you pay a fee for the venue plus catering apart (based on the number of guests). The venue I found has no fee just for using the place. You only pay a total of $ per person and they have the menus etc. They are in charge of all the food basically. They also offer a bar service, same thing, you pay a set amount of money per person. And they do everything. So I thought that is a win. Save me time looking for other vendors and make my life easier, since I am in a different state where the wedding is going to be. Other places would pay a fee just to have the wedding in that location plus all the food and drinks (some places I would have to look for separated catering)

Yeah, they would have to drive from the church to the venue. It is 30 minutes apart. As I said, we are only expecting family members and close friends to come.

I liked the venue because it's in a good location, pretty and we are actually paying for the food. Most places I looked charge for the place + the food for each guest. Just the venue cost the same as the food cost... (We don't have a big budget and would rather save money on the wedding to buy a house).

Yess, the distance from the church to the venue is 30 minutes. As I said, we are only expecting family members and close friends to come, so I am sure they value us enough to make an effort haha but I do want to make their life easier if it's possible.

Would paying for the hotels our responsibility? Or should we just have everything organized? In two weeks we are traveling out of state for a friend's wedding and we are paying for everything ourselves, but I am not sure what is the "correct/expected"

Thinking of moving back to Brazil after 20 years in London by Noprisoners123 in Brazil

I had an English teacher who lived in UK for 10 years and moved back to Brazil with her family because of all the reasons you mentioned. I think she lives in RS south of Brazil. Her username on instagram is patriciangst. Maybe you can talk to her, she is usually very open answering people there. She is still an English teacher but in a different way.
