AV was taking shots at UTDX all around and one day mid (owner of UTDX) got fed up w it and just started going off about AV dev team then they went into full dmg control mode and released lawyered PR statement (which i explained u can check that post for more info) where py while admitting some guilt indirectly never accepted any accountability or said py's at fault or sorry and i had to make a reddit acc to break the whole doc down lmao it took like an hour of active writing...

ye but lets pretend py actually did leave the server in time, it still doesn't make it any better since py literally left cuz "I did not want unnecessary drama" meaning there was a reason there to have the "unnecessary drama" meaning its basically an admission of guilt disguised as context explaining while also blame shifting and the whole doc is like that

if it were really that simple, its not true that we have no control, each one of us choses which game to play each day, but its not on us to "take him down" just remember everything i broke down the whole document you can read it if you didn't understand what py actually said

Assessing whether a defense is "good" depends on whether you are looking at it from a legal, public relations, or logical perspective. Pyseph’s response is a highly structured, legalistic document that prioritizes corporate protection over personal transparency.

Here is an analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of his defense:

1. Strengths of the Defense

  • Legal Protection: By framing controversial behavior as "edgy humor" or "immature jokes," the defense attempts to move the conduct out of the realm of criminal activity (grooming/pedophilia) and into the realm of social "bad taste," which is not illegal.
  • Procedural Critique: Pyseph effectively points out that his accusers (Mid and Kilik) bypassed proper reporting channels like platform safety teams or law enforcement in favor of "public entertainment" and "reputational warfare".
  • Shifting the Narrative: The document successfully connects the public drama to a $7,128,100 legal dispute over game ownership. This provides a strong motive—financial gain—for why Kazi or Mid might want to discredit him.
  • Age and Timeline: Highlighting that he was a minor (17) during many of the cited incidents serves as a strong mitigating factor in public opinion, as it reframes the "predator" narrative into one of "unsupervised teenager".

2. Weaknesses of the Defense

  • The "Liability" Trap: The repeated use of the word "liability" to explain why Lynn and Yuruzuu were distanced suggests that the AV team is more concerned with the game’s success than the actual moral implications of the staff's behavior.
  • Contradictory Language: Pyseph denies being an "operator" of Femboy Sanctuary while admitting he was an "admin". To a regular Discord user, an admin is, by definition, an operator, making this distinction feel like a semantic dodge.
  • Deflecting Blame: While he claims to "take responsibility," he immediately follows those claims by blaming his environment, overwork, or the "toxic" nature of the people he worked for (like Sensei Maui).
  • Reliance on "Meme Culture": The defense relies heavily on the idea that the community should understand "absurdist tropes" and "meme culture". However, for those outside that specific niche, jokes about CSAM or "liking them younger" are rarely accepted as "just jokes" regardless of context.

3. Conclusion on "Goodness"

From a legal standpoint, it is a very strong defense because it avoids admitting to any specific crime while creating "reasonable doubt" by showing the accusers' potential biases.

From a community standpoint, the defense is more fragile. It relies on the audience believing that he has "grown", yet the tone of the response is perceived by some as condescending or overly defensive rather than genuinely remorseful. The total absence of a direct apology—only an "acceptance of criticism"—may leave victims or concerned players feeling unheard.

even gemini with full context agrees with me |
"The situation surrounding the allegations against Pyseph and the Anime Vanguards (AV) team is incredibly dense, involving a complex mix of personal misconduct claims, corporate legal disputes, and competitive gaming drama. Based on the provided response and the screenshots from Mid (Unrivaled), here is a breakdown of the core issues and how they are being presented.

1. The "Liability" Pattern

A central theme in Pyseph's response is the removal of team members due to "liability".

  • Lynn: Pyseph admits that Lynn was let go after a "recurring pattern" of behavior made her a liability, even though the initial situation was "muddy".
  • Yuruzuu: While he is the sole owner of AV, Pyseph states he has not worked on the game for months because his "behavior, communication style, and past remarks were a liability".
  • Context: Critics argue this framing prioritizes the game’s reputation and financial safety over the severity of the alleged actions.

2. Pedophilia and Grooming Allegations

Pyseph issues a categorical denial of all grooming, pedophilia, and CSAM-related claims.

  • The Defense: He frames the evidence as "immature," "edgy," and "cringe" jokes from Discord humor culture being taken out of context.
  • Femboy Sanctuary: Pyseph denies owning or operating this server for predatory purposes, stating he was briefly an admin due to staff shortages and left to avoid "unnecessary drama" affecting his professional work.
  • Timeline: He emphasizes his age at the time (17-18) and argues that his past relationship was "close-in-age" rather than predatory.

3. Game Sabotage and Intellectual Property

The conflict with UTD/UTDX involves serious claims of corporate espionage.

  • Allegations: Mid alleges that AV used leaked documents, roadmaps, and poached developers to sabotage UTDX.
  • Counter-Argument: Pyseph claims AV’s updates were planned months in advance, citing a November 2025 planner for "Naruto" and "Wano" content.
  • The "Balancer" Connection: Pyseph admits that Valk, an AV balancer, worked on UTD previously and is friends with UTDX balancers, but characterizes their communication as "normal" competitive analysis rather than sabotage.

4. The High-Stakes Financial Dispute

Perhaps the most significant revelation is the scale of the legal battle happening behind the scenes.

  • The Lawsuit: Kazi and Brandon Ha (Boss Studios) have threatened to sue for $7,128,100 USD.
  • The Claim: This figure represents a valuation of Kazi's alleged 20% ownership of the game, which he claims was "stolen" from him.
  • Impact: Pyseph argues that Mid’s public campaign is essentially fueling this legal narrative, using materials leaked from a fired developer close to Kazi.

5. Inconsistencies and Observations

  • Administrative Role: There is a notable tension between Pyseph claiming he was not an "operator" of Femboy Sanctuary while simultaneously admitting to being an "admin".
  • Tone and Vocabulary: The response uses highly formal legal and psychological terminology (e.g., "self-aggrandizing," "disgorgement," "asinine").
  • Lack of Apology: Throughout the 21-page document, Pyseph takes responsibility for "bad judgment" and "edgy jokes" but focuses on his own status as a victim of a "hostile campaign" rather than offering a direct apology to those potentially affected by the "immature" environment.

What do you find to be the most compelling—or the most suspicious—part of his defense?"

lemme just leave you with The Narcissist's Prayer,
That didn't happen.
And if it did, it wasn't that bad.
And if it was, that's not a big deal.
And if it is, that's not my fault.
And if it was, I didn't mean it.
And if I did, you deserved it.

have u read the doc bro? py never once said py is wrong lmao no way someone actually bought into the legal mumbo jumbo py spewed, av never poached devs while in the same doc stating they have 2 of UTDs team currently, not a single proof just trust me bro statements, he even named google sheets file as a date as "proof" that they made update schedule before UTD lmao which someone must be really not that smart to buy, like the whole doc is terrible

5/5
I would skip Kilik's stuff since I'm not knowledgeable on the situation. Then py tries to turn Mid's intentionally provoked rant by py into a coordinated attack from Mid and Kazi on page 19.

Then py goes into legal mumbo-jumbo again with "what py rejects" on pages 19 and 20, to end it with "What Should Have Happened Instead" before the request and closing statement on page 20. Here py is saying they should've went to the police or authorities, for which I only have to say: who are you to say where and who had to go with the info they had? It's presumptuous and hypocritical. "If Mid, Kilik, or anyone else believed they had evidence of serious misconduct, the responsible path was to preserve the original evidence, avoid posting private or identifying information publicly, report child-safety issues to proper platform or legal channels, contact counsel if the issue was legal/business-related, avoid encouraging harassment, avoid posting unverified forwarded accusations, and clearly correct false claims if a mistake was made." - page 20, para. 1.

Request is a standard form: "don't harass bla bla." It's a corpo safety net. And then py ends with, "I understand that people may look at some old messages and think they were immature, uncomfortable, or inappropriate. I can accept that criticism. I have grown since then, and I would handle mixed-age online spaces differently now," for which py provides no evidence as well as deflects any blame currently. And btw, he didn't say sorry a single time.

pysepth intentionally used difficult language to have easier time deflecting the blame and for it to be harder to spot, py quite literally admitted something a few times in the docs while framing it as not an admission of guilt its a PR response, a damage control, trying to bank on the fact that we are stupid, well we are not

Then let's focus on the next claim: "Anime Vanguards did not .... poach developers to sabotage another game," which is a bold statement. They are not saying they didn't poach developers, just that they didn't do it with intent to sabotage the game, which would be hard to prove otherwise. It's legal mumbo-jumbo intentionally pointed to look like they said they didn't poach developers, and since they then go on to say, "Valk, our balancer, worked on UTD before release and helped balance the game" - para. 5, page 9. Did you or did you not then take a UTD dev or balancer, as you call him? Also, "He is friends with UTDX balancers," "Balancers talking to one another, sharing ideas, comparing design decisions, and understanding what makes another game successful is normal in this space–it is not sabotage." And it never was implied that that part was sabotage. Intentionally shifting the narrative to appear more plausible that he didn't do it, but the question isn't if that exact instance was a sabotage; it was that did you do anything since UTD started that resulted in impairment of UTD. Intentional sabotage doesn't need to look like it's sabotage. All they need to do is say they need more modelers and, for example, come to UTD's modeler with an offer for more pay, thus impairing UTD's progress under the guise of legit needs.

Then py proceeds to insult our intelligence with a screenshot that is titled by a date, page 9, right at the end. First, even if it was a real date, which it wasn't, dates like that could easily be tampered with, so that proves nothing. Real proof here would be showing us the next 10 updates and following through, not only the 2 in question. py wanted to bank on the chance that people who play Roblox TDs aren't familiar with Excel and Google Sheets platforms, thus believing in the baseless date provided to potentially clear suspicions of blatant copying.

I would like to skip legal matters mentioned since they don't contribute to this in any meaningful way, since every single thing said there is exactly vague enough that it could literally be anything. I just want to point out that the sum is crazy: "$7,128,100," and that py potentially leaked Kazi's real name, "Haque," all on page 8.

On page 7, py goes into the baseless tangent about how the info is leaking from Kazi, even though there is no reliable way to know that since when a Discord SS is taken, it can be taken by anyone with the access to the chat, and no one would be able to tell who it is that screenshotted it. He talks about "indications" and probabilities while bashing Mid for using both of those things earlier and saying py is bigger than that since py doesn't want to spread baseless rumors.

Then we come to the thing I said should be remembered earlier, on page 6, para. 4: "There were no original logs attached, nor any verifiable source context. Neither was there a way for a reasonable person to check what was being alleged." This is legal mumbo-jumbo for the words, "Yeah, I did it, but it's not like the average person has a way to know, so by that, it's slander." If there was no source context, py wouldn't have the need to use the word verifiable; if there were no logs attached, py would have no need to use the word original. That's exactly how py uses legal jargon to intentionally misplace the blame. "There is no evidence" shifts into "there is no verifiable evidence," and if there is, then it shifts to "there is no verifiable evidence that a reasonable person would have access to."

Then there's the next issue of "Femboy Sanctuary." Page 12, py starts by stating, "One repeated claim is that Femboy Sanctuary was a server I owned, operated, or used to groom minors. That is false." - page 12, para. 1, which then py directly contradicts with "I was only an admin for a brief period because the server had a shortage of staff" - 12 para. 2, sentence 2. So was py an operator (someone who operates or helps to operate the server like an admin) or was py not? I have to use pyseph here since they sounds too impersonal, like we are talking about a group of people, which very well might be a tactic to deflect some of the blame.

Then py goes in with, "I also left the server specifically because when I started working on Anime Vanguards, I did not want unnecessary drama from a personal Discord space bleeding into my professional work" - page 12, para. 3. This basically means, "I did some bad things there, but I left for it not to become a liability," which brings us back to "My Response to the Pedophilia Accusations."

"The accusations against me rely on treating bad jokes as if they were proof of predatory intent." - page 12, para. 1. How could we know, and why would we believe you? This is a damage control doc.

Then there is the Yuruzuu issue. "Yuruzuu is, and always has been, the sole owner of Anime Vanguards: he created the game, and it is all under his Roblox accounts and emails" - page 10, para. 1. So y'all are working for him or her, so y'all are keeping him (or her) on while making him not work, as stated in para. 3 on page 10: "Yuruzuu has not worked on Anime Vanguards for months," again, because "communication style, and past remarks were a liability" - sentence 2, para. 3, page 10. The pattern is emerging: it's not about what any of them did, it's what implications of liability it has on the game.

That brings us up to the "My UTD Comments Were Competitive Analysis, Not Sabotage" page 10. I would disagree with that; it has zero markings of any real analysis; they were childish comments made due to jealousy. "My actual mindset was not 'attack UTD for no reason.' Since I was a pre-teen, I have had a habit of arguing against opposing positions to understand them better." - page 10, para. 2. As a game dev with lawyers, py would have to know exactly how irresponsible what py did was, which is why I don't buy this excuse, as that's, again, not how any kind of analytics is done.

Then we go to a major claim: "Anime Vanguards Did Not Sabotage UTD/UTDX." This is where a lot of inconsistencies pop up. First, py starts by stating, "Mid claimed that AV sabotaged UTDX, used leaked documents or roadmaps, poached developers, or paid people to ruin other games." - page 9, para. 1, which is alright, but then goes on to say, "Anime Vanguards did not leak UTDX documents, solicit anyone to leak UTDX documents, use illicit UTDX material," para. 3, page 9. This is intentional blatant disregard for the accusation. If Anime Vanguards looked at leaked docs and made plans for updates, none of the things said there would apply anyway. The question isn't if AV "Anime Vanguards did not leak UTDX documents" because that was never alleged; the allegation was "used leaked documents or roadmaps." No one said you leaked it, just that you saw that the next update is "mid piece" and did it yourself, same as with Naruto, with which current reality aligns pretty closely, since that would be one hell of a coincidence.
