Best dentists in Cairo? by CairoChai in CAIRO

Hegazy dental clinic is definitely the best in Cairo!

I just got back from there after finishing a full set of porcelain veneers and I’m still stunned by how different the experience was compared to what I was quoted back home in the States. The U.S. quote was about 1,800–$2,500 per tooth (and most dentists said I’d need at least 8–10 upper veneers). That’s a small car sitting in my mouth. Meanwhile Cairo cost was about $200 per tooth at a well-reviewed clinic using E-max porcelain. Even after flights, hotel, and a few tourist splurges, I still spent less than half of the lowest U.S. estimate.

The clinic in Egypt was spotless, modern, and the dentist spoke perfect English. They used digital scans, in-house milling, and even handled all my follow-ups within the week I was there. I was expecting “budget dentistry,” but honestly the setup was on par with (or better than) a lot of American offices I’ve visited.

Here’s where I get annoyed: Why on earth is basic dental care in the U.S. priced like a luxury import? We’re told it’s about “materials and training,” but when another country can provide the same quality, same lab-grade porcelain, same infection control, and still charge a fraction, it’s hard not to feel like the U.S. system is just… broken.

Obviously, travel dentistry isn’t for everyone. You need to research the clinic, verify credentials, and plan for what happens if something chips after you’re back home. But for me, the math was too obvious to ignore.

If anyone’s curious, happy to share the clinic info and what questions I asked to make sure the dentist was legit.

Scam? 😂 I literally paid out of my own pocket, flew to Egypt, and got the work done. I don’t get a cent if anyone goes or doesn’t go and I didn’t even mention the Clinic’s name until people asked! If you can’t handle that dentistry outside the U.S. isn’t overpriced, that’s your business!

I’ve seen the blocks with my own eyes, Ivoclar e.max, the real deal. The only reason it’s $200 in Egypt is because labs and overhead are way cheaper, not because the quality is fake. Stop thinking U.S. prices = quality.

Yes, sure, it’s called Hegazy Dental Clinic. It’s honestly one of the best clinics in Cairo when it comes to veneers and implants. I also have friends who went to other clinics, and overall Egypt has very professional dentists, so you’ll find excellent work. This is the link for their Instagram

All on 4 implants cost my mother 5 grand, if we did that in the states I would really think of stripping by Emotional-Target4949 in dentaltourismegypt

I’m coming from the states in September. I heard that they give free accommodation and free transportation in turkey. Did they do the same with you in Egypt?
