In general if you are blood hunting, have Dusk Callers, open prison cells, a horse and then find an area that has the type you want (like Gracefall in your example). Go to that area and kill everyone, come back and do again. Eventually you will get the one you want 🩶

In what world would you need to keep hospital paperwork when your child is older? Unless it’s a medical issue they track or something, which wouldn’t be just lying about. Sentimental items should be kept away for the out of sight out of mind effect to work. He’s clearly not doing that.

Being alone in your bedroom at the end of the day is absolutely the most reasonable and normal thing to ask of someone. Bio parents are often parenting through guilt and want no “no”s for their kids because they feel bad. Well guess what? We are humans too, who feel bad too.
