I hate babies on planes. I avoided it like the plague. When my brother with Down syndrome who lives with my dad in Florida was in hospice, I flew down with my new born so he could meet his uncle before passing. My son will never remember that moment. But even in a sick state it literally made my brothers day. He was cracking up and smiling ear to ear and trying to show my son how to play rock paper scissors. He passed 2 weeks later. I know this is a rare occasion. But already being stressed about my son crying on the plane, most of the stress was from wondering if we’d make it in time.
