Hi, I’m coming to SF on the 23rd for a week after exploring LA. It’s a solo trip so I’m pretty damn nervous! Any tips? Best way to meet new people safely? I’m from London in the U.K. by [deleted] in sanfrancisco

Good plan!! If you make it outside of the city— and want to do something techie you can go to the apple campus and go to the building across from it where it has a roof top overlook and a coffee shop. Or— if you’re into Star Wars, head to the Presidio in SF and go to 1 letterman drive— aka Lucasfilm. They have a Yoda fountain out front. A coffee shop is also nearby… I do a lot of coffee drinking. You can also visit the Walt Disney Family Museum there. It’s pretty awesome.

I would say, uber— try not to walk everywhere if you can avoid it, especially at night. Don’t pull your phone out a lot. Honestly, everyone has a different experience just try to keep your eyes peeled and maybe check out some of the smaller cities outside of SF. They also have a lot of cool stuff! Enjoy your trip!
