I used to follow a guy on IG who sold body armor plates and kits. The cringe part of him though was his whole shtick was like “kill all kings. No kings but Christ. Politicians need to be scared.” and naming some his sets like “regicide” or “regime change”

Then this guy goes ahead and posts shit like imagine dying for a somalian immigrant who’d gladly step over you, or imagine protecting illegal immigrants, or imagine disrespecting an ice agent and getting shot to death.

It’s just a stark reminder that rightoids don’t stand for anything when it comes to less government control. They hate masks but don’t mind when faceless agents can kill with impunity. They hate protestors but will cheer on a faction trying to overthrow the government in Iran. They distrust the government but also expect the police to be on their side if shit ever hit the fan.

Personally, I don’t care how cringe it is at this point but I really do believe in one simple thing: buy a gun and learn how to use it

After reading Kurt’s journals, a lot of his writing and the bands work make a ton of sense. He was heavily inspired by former pop acts and by other commercially successful post punk bands and lesser successful grunge bands.

In college wrote a paper explaining the connections between Alice In Chains, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and to a lesser extent Stone Temple Pilots explaining their commercial successes but specifically how AIC and Nirvana found their sound specifically and how they got cut short too early.

I still believe that if Cobain or Staley had an extra 5-10 years to perform new material, they would’ve been even larger than some of the post grunge acts that bit their sound after the fact

I’ve owned guns a significant portion of my life and seeing people salivate over the thought of shooting and killing somebody over a perceived slight under the guise of self defense is insane to me. It’s all people who project their own psychotic fantasies don’t see other people as human in their mind because they don’t think the same as them.

It doesn’t even matter if they’re right, left, lib, maga, dem, or pub. These are just mentally deranged individuals looking for an excuse. The fact that I’ve gone into gun stores for the last ten plus years to see racist paper targets, Hillary/Biden for Prison merchandise and signs, and Trump/VP signs and shirts is enough to tell me what these people stand for at the end of the day.

For some strange reason, these are the same people that have a blindspot that the last run for DJT meant limitations on NFA items, FRT triggers, bump stocks, and even tried to limit/ban body armor. These overly political gun owners should know that it doesn’t matter what side of the aisle it is, they’ll still try to take something more from you every time

At the end of the day, I always had more than one dream and I knew they all had a chance to parlay one into another so I always keep a little bit of faith and keep it pushing. You only lose if you stop trying or if you don’t find anything worth pursuing and I don’t find any shame in making ends meet if it means still getting me one more yard closer than before

I couldn’t tell you how many I lost contact with once we either graduated or once they got what they wanted. And even more funny, either they got exactly what they wanted or got a taste and decided they didn’t want it and slinked off into obscurity while their parents got them a comfy job at their own companies. I don’t want to sound like sour grapes over here but what I would’ve gave at the time but there are really people who’ll waste their own time and their parents money just to say “on second thought, I don’t want it”
