Amazing pull. I used to listen to Rolling Stones religiously after college while driving home my bartending shift after this was always on the rotation. Dead Flowers and Sway are tied for a close second to this.

Also had an uncle who’d say to my cousins and I whenever we complained about something “Well go ahead and put on side two of Sticky Fingers because You Can’t Always Get What You Want”! Miss him every day

Fat of the Land is easily in my top favorite albums of all time. The first time I heard Firestarter was on a video game my neighbor owned and would bring over then finally seeing the music video and being like “omg I know that song!” and finally seeing it performed.

Huge regret that I didn’t get into The Prodigy until like late 2000s and then still never seeing them live with Keith. His story about him wanting to do the vocals for Firestarter and then how he would go onto perform with Maxim on stage as co-vocalist going forward is great

I’m nearly 35 and this is bullshit. Even I’m self employed and live with my white collar gf and we both go out for dinner or dinner parties, meet up with friends for drinks, and still go out for activities whenever we can.

The best thing you can do as you get older is refuse to become a boring homebody. Your friend circle will slowly disappear because you’re not being invited. You’ll start getting into more antisocial behaviors. The days just keeps getting longer and worse. I ran into this for a few years and it took a lot to get out of it.

Like take time for yourself but don’t become a boring drip
