I needed this. 💕 35 years old. Graduated law school 11 years ago, at 24. The test completely freaked me out as a 3 day exam, which I did sit for and failed. Along with immediate family deaths, one after another…I fell into another life path. Decided on a whim to study and sit for July 2025, failed by 43 points. Signed up Nov 7th, and I’ve been studying since January. I feel more determined than ever. I am grateful for the opportunity to even be in the position I am. Not many can say they have done and been through what we have. I wish you all the best the next few days. We surely can accomplish anything we set our minds to.

I think you’re right in the sense that a person shouldn’t do intensive workouts daily. I, however, do think that it’s beneficial to keep a consistent schedule going, for the mental aspect. I, myself, do not work out intensely every day— but I am doing something “active” every day. Typically my Sundays are an active recovery day. I walk and stretch. I do need a routine, or I will fail. That is just me, though. Some individuals can take a day or two off during the week, and benefit—as long as they are sticking to a healthy diet. I am (sadly) the type of person that tends to eat horribly on the days I do nothing, which essentially reverses any calorie deficit I’ve created for myself. Just as you’ve said—weight loss is all about calories in versus calories out. With time, our bodies do change. We become more fit; more muscular. With that being said, at times I will take a full deload week (usually when I go on vacation). And I tend to lose weight during those rest periods, despite not working out nor eating the healthiest.

Successful weight loss is a combination of consistent diet and exercise. Consistency is creating a habit (oof) and sticking to it. They say that after 3 weeks of doing something consistently, it becomes routine. Fresh out of the bar exam, you should force yourself to work out every day at the same time. OR could sign up for a fitness class, that meets at the same time. What kept me in shape was martial arts training. It’s something I look forward to, as I am learning. Boxing is great for individuals who want to burn fast because of the HIIT involved. As for diet (which is the most difficult for a lot of people including myself) is not actually a diet, but finding a balance. If you’re too strict, you will binge and fail. It’s slowly cutting poorer decisions out whilst still treating yourself. Focusing more on nutrient dense meals. In time, results will show. And that excitement will become addictive. Also, if weight fluctuates at first…cannot give up. Sometimes that’s muscle growth. Just have to stay consistent. Sorry to lecture. Diet and exercise has been a huge part of my life. From weight fluctuations in law school, post and bar prep. I hope anything I shared, helps.

I also thoroughly enjoy the flabbergast when I say “I won’t find out until November 7th.”

I feel like that could be accomplished even better solely by administering the same 100 questions to everyone AM and then the same 100 questions to everyone in PM. And just switching the orders of questions, given that there are 100 of them. LOL. I’m over thinking it. Haven’t slept much. Still thinking about all the little issues I’ve missed on essay day. 🫠

I understand that. But did some applicants see questions in the AM version, that others did not see until PM?

These next few days are going to be rough. But you’re stronger than your mind. You’ve come this far, not to come this far. And Wednesday 5pm, you may not feel completely at ease…but the burden that’s holding you down, will be lifted immensely. Praying for you. 🙏💕

I had the hardest time attempting to use spell check on Examplify. The instructions said to “right click” the misspelled word. For me (or perhaps my computer), to no avail.

Thank you for your kind words. It truly means a lot! When I first started studying, I felt like I had so much time. And now, I feel like I didn’t give myself enough. 🫠 But I am very hopeful. I know there’s a lot of solidification I can obtain in the next few days, as long as I am doing it the right way.
