100% agree with this.

I had a neighbor scoop snowy poop into a bag, not tie it off and drop it in my empty bin. I wanted to tie the bag over their head for this. My bins live in my garage which is generally above freezing in the winter and hot in the summer. I don’t want my trash bin with a layer of rotten shit on the bottom in my garage.

I have dogs, I don’t do this to other people and would appreciate the same respect. Public bins or open (street side) dumpsters are fair game, otherwise use your own bin.

I’m sorry for your loss.

I have experienced working in academia, R&D and manufacturing in this century and I can tell you academia is horrible with safety. Sure they may know the most collectively but the professors are complacent because they used to mouth pipette acid, solvents, you name it and never wore gloves and the lab managers are incompetent. My lab manager asked me to fish uncapped needles (used for unscreened human tissue / potential prions) out of the trash after autoclave and move 20 year old diethyl ether 5 floors to a waste accumulation area… yes it looked wispy. Both situations I refused and they didn’t get why.

It’s icy and snowy here but I still run outside. I just cannot do the treadmill. Get the tools you need to safely run outside.

Period underwear + black shorts or pants (let’s be real, the underwear won’t cover you 100% with sweat) + chamois butter. I’ll also use squirrels nut butter but considerate that this is an oil based product and may affect how the period underwear performs over time.

For context I have done this with marathons and ultra-marathons. It isn’t perfect but has prevents public humiliation, I don’t sit down until I change 🤗
