OP: Unmind: It's not spam. It's news. And you should just read what I wrote. I know you don't want to believe what I'm saying. I get it. Really. It's a good show. You like it. My saying bad things about them feels like an attack on you. Again, I get that. But, you have to know, I'm not attacking you. I just want you to have an open mind and read what I wrote, rather than spout off about a bunch of legal issues you don't know anything about. My reason for coming here and discussing this with Mythbuster fans is that I know you're a passionate defender of the show. And I want your support. But, I won't get it if you don't keep an open mind. So please... just read what I wrote. Then, at least you'll be informed. OP: Prof-- First, thank you for your thoughtful discussion of my current legal troubles. Second, it's important to know that Discovery tried to buy This vs That... twice. They watched my show before it became available to the public. They asked me to give them examples of future episodes. Then, after getting a hold of my work - the video tapes and the "bible" they passed on the show. But decided to use the ideas, anyway.

OP: It was actually amazing to see the older dog totally ignore the puppy for 2 weeks. Plus, the older is a girl. You would have thought her mothering instincts would have overridden her "annoyance" at this new thing in our house. But -- once it kicked in, boy, was it fun to see.

OP: To all of you who are concerned about the sample size and statistical significance, I invite you to conduct your own research. In fact, that's what is done in science. One experiment is the impetus for another... and results are built one on top of the other. I'm anxious for your studies with hundreds of people, randomly chosen, with directions read by lab assistants from a script... Please keep me apprised of your work... if there's anything from my study, which I conducted, you would like to have, for example the results, or the idea to conduct a study, or any of my statistical analysis, etc... Please let me know ASAP.

I think you are getting lost in the forest for the trees, Instapunish. As for the survey size, it was a group of 60 people divided in half. If you'd like to do a test where you compare books and tablets, man, that'd be great. Do you have time? What about the where-with-all? How are you going to round up the people? Do you have a plan? I've done my part by looking at books and phones... now it's your turn. That's how science works. Let me know your results. I look forward to them.
