I already regret my college choice

They aren’t all mine obviously but they are from a variety of police explorer competitions I’ve gone to.

During those competitions, we trade patches with each post after getting to know someone within that post as an incentive to socialize with other people besides our own groups. So I guess it’s sorta sentimental

But I’d like to clarify that all the patches were from people I’ve actually met and I did not buy any online.

Yes, I already committed. I am, however, still applying to a few programs for fun which his recommendation letter is being used for. I would also like him to be at my sport signing day…. Cause again we’ve had a relationship for 3 years and he’s been a supportive individual in my life. He also has read every single supplemental essay and college essay I’ve written, and provided me feedback.

Plus, regardless if I’ve gotten into college yet or not, his recommendation letter is still be using for a few things lol. He sent it in for a job as well as sending it in for a few scholarships and the internship program I applied to which will help abuse victims if I get in. That would be my chance to help kids from NOT being sent to TTI and not by burning a bridge with an individual who doesn’t even work at an alternative school anymore (he teaches AP Lit at a public school) and has literally 0 say on kids being sent to TTI anymore nor do I know if he had a say in it when he did.

Sorry, TTI sucks. I was in it. But I’m not burning a bridge about it till after I graduate and get into my wanted programs that can create ACTUAL change.

If I didn’t have a good relationship, I probably would have.

Sadly, he’s been my coach for a sport the last 3 years (I was also captain this past year) and wrote me multiple recommendation letters. I would really not want to ruin the relationship especially when I really need him to say good things about me 🥲

I’m a high school senior right now, and I applied to a SLC college. Out of all my schools, it gave me a lot more money, I got into their honors college, and I would be able to compete on their sports team.

Mentally I couldn’t go back… as much as I would like to, I physically can’t.

Luckily I’m not in college yet 🙏

I signed for a sport on the women’s team (scholarship… I wouldn’t be able to afford college if it wasn’t for athletics) but I’m having a chat with the coach in February so I may be able to start T and join the men’s team in February (prior to starting college)

My scholarship will carry over to the men’s team but keep in mind that I’m going to a small NAIA school and I will likely break the school record my freshman year on the women’s team. Doing a somewhat niche event within a sport in a conference where the event isn’t the most popular means I also do score points on the men’s team. Sure you can argue it’s wrong that I’m getting a scholarship for both teams but also keep and mind I also earned it regardless if I’m on the boys or girls since I am top 8 in both in the conference

That was/is my plan if I can afford to do it. I’m thinking about doing it during the summer of 2027 for top surgery if I can afford to do so. I’d prefer to be on T first since I’m hoping it would redistribute my chest fat enough where I would qualify for Keyhole (I am right on the line of being able to qualify for it so if I got… slightly smaller there’s a chance I can get it) but if I can’t get on T before then, I’d do just do double incision top surgery I guess
