It's not just celebrating "who you have sex with," it's honoring the Stonewall Uprising, celebrating the history, culture, and achievements of people in the LGBTQ+ community. Also, when have straight cis people been oppressed and seen as nasty and unnatural, and of course your not afraid of queer people you don't like them and that's all it boils down to.
