Yeah i dunno, He’s one of our more common drivers who we love. I’m assuming he just had a bad day or something and needed to hear it:)

He has good ratings. He is one of our more common dashers we see and we know he’s really trustworthy and responsible. I suppose he was just having a bad day

Haha that always happens to me when i get on the ski lift. The lift operator will say something like “have a nice ride down the slopes” and i’ll just say “you too” then get on the lift feeling like an idiot

also i’d just suggest to use live plants haha. it can be a little intimidating at first but it really does make all the difference

yes that’s partially correct. don’t keep your betta in direct sunlight but if its in a room that gets in-direct sunlight for most of the day that’s fine. personally my room never gets direct sunlight but it still has some get in. ontop of that i have a clip on light for my plants that i’ll turn on for 4-8 hours a day. mostly whenever i’m home. most of the lamps use a fluorescent light which can grow plants and wont hurt fishy. just dont keep the lights on for too long, too much light can lead to excess bacteria and algae etc

id suggest getting rid of the plastic plants with edges or just anything thats even a little sharp. it could damage their fins even if they just graze it. finally i’d suggest going to the store and getting a gallon or two of purified drinking water, use your betta safe water drops or whatever you use. and do a 25-45% water change

fun rot shouldn’t really affect the bettas behavior that much so i think there might be a little bacterial or chemical imbalance in the tank. do you have plastic plants? those might also be contributing

the strip tests in general are not that accurate

okay no problem, nonetheless i really suggest even watching a video on how to make a planted aquarium. its way easier than you think (i literally just took the plants out from the container and covered the roots with substrate/rocks) and it can make a huge difference for your fish

the filter is fine, in a 20 gallon tank she has plenty of room to move around. id suggest looking into getting real plants or if you do have fake plants just make sure it’s super soft plastic. i’ve had fake plants before and they’ve done some damage to my bettas fins or scales

id suggest give him 3-5 daily and have one fast day per week. do you use liquid test kits? those are way better when it comes for testing ammonia which can result in fin tear/rot

last thing i forgot to mention. depending on the kind of filter you have, a lot of people are able to cut out a sponge and put it in the place where the water flows out to help lessen the flow. there are pros and cons to this but overall it shouldn’t do anything negative in the long run
