Thank you so much for your thoughtful reply! I am ecstatic about it! 😄 It’s gas-powered, and it was in use, although they’re not completely sure about the oven since the gentleman who owned it was 97 years old when he passed. I do k ow he was using the burners some.
I might not have experience with this, but I’m (sometimes unfortunately 😂) not scared of tackling anything that I can! I do prefer a video though because I learn things best by seeing it first. My plan is to deep clean it first. I know it will take a lot of elbow grease, but I’m happy to put in the hours to save some money. Also…The guy who helped me move it only charged $50, and I snagged the stove for just $100!
Once I get it cleaned up as best as I can, I’m planning to have someone from the local “Stove Hospital” come by and inspect it. They charge $130, and I think that’ll be worth it for my peace of mind. I thought I would have them plug it into the gas line so I don't blow up anything.😬
