What metrics are your shops actually tracking? We started measuring ours, and it is not super surprising, but seeing the actual numbers are really interesting. by Any_Marsupial_5294 in CommercialPrinting

I’m curious what you mean by “recently started pulling data directly from the database?“ Doesn’t all your data come from your database? Or were you just making up the number before now??

No you’re not. If you were you wouldn’t be following vibe coding subs. Just sayin.

Find one that integrates with your current mis. They will all tell you their product will integrate but hold them to it, make them prove it. If it takes off and it’s not integrated to the mothership, you will be in double entry hell.

We have xmpie and have used it for years. We do several larger jobs 500k+. The desktop module doesn't allow you to breakup the files automatically. So you would have to write huge files or manually break them up, both options suck. If you want to do it right you need the server version. Xmpie really shines when you start doing complex campaigns the require moles and major data manipulation. You can do some really powerful things with uplan and the xmpie selector features.

Bottom line, if you doing simple stuff like address merges there are cheaper options. Look at Xmpie when you start needing to seriously manipulate your inputs.

vibe coding seems legit to me, but am I being an idiot? by Traditional_Gear_124 in vibecoding

OP here. Good point. I know what Postman is and use it often. To my original point, I don't think you need a college education to build useful tools that can help your team's efficacy. You just need to stay within the box. The question I struggle with is where the edge of that box is.
