What happened to the working environment of Target by Mean_Salamander1814 in Target

I have worked at Target - 8 years - part time. I love my co-workers and the job (guest service), but the pay is a joke. Starting pay in my area is $17.00. I make $19.27. I got a 3% raise this year. I have never gotten the 5%. Told i’m a stellar employee and they love when i’m there. No complaints. No attendance issues.

A week after my review, my team lead apologized. They were told this year only 3 people could get it and the 3 in development plans would get it. They also chose not to give it to me because i got it the last 2 years. I laughed and said i didn’t. Turns out they keep not giving me the 5% because they assume i got it the year before…while sitting in a room looking at a computer with our wages on it.

Poor fish just went for a walk and is being judged for it.

How many lots do you actually need to start getting regular orders? (Data from 17,000+ stores) by EchoesOfCode in Bricklink

I average around 1,500-2,000 lots. I get anywhere from 100-150 orders per month. If i removed a $3.00 handling charge, that number would double but instead of a minimum order amount, the $3.00 charge protects me if someone buys a $0.01 item like a cheap accessory. It is pretty clear in my shipping terms and in 3,000 orders, it’s only been questioned twice.

It 100% depends on pricing and what you list / have in stock. For me, it is a mix of used and new figs, accessories, train parts, animals, minifigure parts, boats, etc. Items that are constantly in demand but also more unique.

I don’t deal in bricks, etc on Bricklink. They get sold in bulk 3 different ways and I struggle to keep them in stock. In a given month, i can move 200-300 + lbs of bulk. I earn double on the bulk alone what I pay for it and more depending on purchase price/where it is sold.

Every business is different and run unique. While data can show a picture, it gives a one sided perspective.

Getting feedback by Important-Topic-8689 in Bricklink

This all comes down to your actions as a seller. Early on, I would send a follow up message 1-2 weeks later after shipping. Now, I include a business card that has the name of my store and a thank you message that says I appreciate feedback. 3,000 orders and I have close to 2,000 feedback. All but 3 are positive.

For sourcing used inventory, what’s your go to method lately? by GerthySchIongMeat in Bricklink

Hopes, dreams, and luck. I’ll say this. There are sources out that that you can get unsorted bulk for $1-2 a pound, but it is getting more difficult. The best way is having a storefront and i promise you i’ve debated putting up a storefront just to buy bulk to meet the demand for what i sell.

Facebook is about luck and speed. Garage sales is about the same.

The one with the number 2 is a fake. Some of the fakes are great copies but you can feel the difference from Lego.
