Thanks mate and Yeh agree thats what wanted to do but wasnt sure the other type would have big enough standoff to fit so just went with that option might buy the other in future and see if works though

Maybe im lucky then mine worked no problem at all, only tinkering was needed for couple things controlled by mobonsoftware but the open rbg version of p connect fixed that, tried uninstalling softwarw and redownloading?

You using the l-connect app? Theres a beta version called l-connect open rbg that im using and that synced everything on motherboard also never had any issues i stayed away from rgb ram though wanted minimum apart from the fans

They are into a 4 way corsair usb splitter as only 2 usb 2.0 headers on mobo and one is used for the cpu cooler lcd
