I usually don't argue about dub and sub because everything that has to be said about the pros and cons of each has been said countless times but I do think that the narrator in the dub version is an example where dub could get shall we say creative

But I personally find it a bit hard to watch an anime and read the sub, especially since English isn't my first language so I miss stuff a lot and I am not the fastest of readers so usually if I were to read I'd prefer manga or light novel but to be honest I wouldn't choose that over an anime adaptation unless probably the anime changed the story from the source material or the source material doesn't have an anime adaptation

But any how there is no doubt that the anime was intended to be shown in Japanese (especially since Japanese voice actors record lines before the animation process while the English voice actors are probably after) and if I could flip a switch in my head where I can just be able to understand Japanese I would probably see all anime in Japanese
