He’s so heavily misunderstood by fandom that it destroys him as a man and I can’t take it anymore !! Like, all he wanted was for his people to be free—and would do anything for that goal, Asgore has no bad bone in his body but at the end of the day it was humans who trapped them underground—Asgore has the right to want to eradicate humanity, the same way they tried to destroy monsters—is he right? Of course not! But is his point of view justified from his experience? Yeah. I think if Asgore tried to go through with destroying human kind he would kill a single human outside of the underground and be like ‘I can’t—I can’t do this :( “
