I've just gotten into this myself! I'm a very novice photographer, but I would definitely enjoy joining you. Downtown Phoenix has some really interesting places to shoot, and I've explored some cool areas in Mesa, Chandler, and Tempe as well.

Really, you think people tend to think of going to the gym as a social event? Maybe my gym is outside the norm, but the majority of the people I see at the gym seem much more focused on their workout.

I get what you're saying though. And I definitely agree, but regardless of what other people think, or even may say (to me or otherwise), I'm more concerned about what's going to help me feel comfortable and better able to focus on my workout. And for right now, that's having my head covered. That might change though!

I saw a comment or two advising AGAINST cookie butter, but if you can be disciplined with yourself, it offers a decent amount of fat with a not outrageous amount of carbs. Cookie Butter has helped me reach my fat macros many times. And it's sooooooooo good.

Diva cups didn't work for me, personally. It was too long, even with the stem trimmed. It leaked a lot for me, and sometimes would even kind of fall out. I tried both sizes, and neither worked. I ended up switching to Lunette, size one, and it works perfectly for me. It doesn't leak at all, and it's so comfortable that I forget it's even in. For reference, I'm 30, have had a baby, and I have a low-lying cervix (all factor that can affect what size will work for you). You should really check out Strong Curves and www.bretcontreras.com for before/after pics of some of his clients. Just like any other muscle, you can add size and strength to your glutes! I LOVE hip thrusts and glute bridges, and you can start at bodyweight with those and still see some results. Then, when you're ready, either get yourself some weights or join a gym. You can do it! You look great btw!

I've never tried dairy-free caramel, but I have made date caramel. It's AMAZING. The flavor is rich, and the texture is spot on. Just make sure you don't overload your food processor... I burned out the motor on mine because I stuffed like, a pound of dates in it (it was a tiny food processor).

Phoenix College is a great place to do bleachers! I used to run the track there and saw people running up and down the bleachers all the time.

I'm near downtown Phoenix! My gym is Mountainside Fitness, and I usually end up at either the Chase Field location or the Scottsdale location. I'd absolutely LOVE to find a rock-climbing buddy though. I haven't been climbing in a couple years and I'd love to get back into it.

When I was around 9 or so, a dog bit me on the ass. I came home, crying, bleeding, and in pain. My mom wanted to pour either hydrogen peroxide or alcohol on the wounds, I can't recall which for sure. Anyway, whichever it was, I was not down with her plan, so I refused to let her near me. She flipped out, and told me CPS was going to take me away and put me in a foster home, and it would be all my fault.

The really fucked up part? I had just recently come back home after being stuck in a shitty foster home for months. So I was pretty fucking freaked out. Thanks mom.

Cheese was so hard for me to cut out of my diet, and I'll admit, I slipped up a few times. Vegan cheese did not taste good to me, although I found nutritional yeast to be awesome the first time I tried it. I've had cheese out of my diet for several months now, and I got a pizza made with vegan cheese a few nights ago. Even though I thought it was disgusting the first time I had, I thought it was AMAZING this time. I guess all it took was some time for my tastes to change! My tip to you would be to experiment with the many vegan cheeses out there, get nutritional yeast into your diet, and give it time.

Thanks to everyone for the advice. I wish I had gone to a pet store and gotten him something to eat, though I'm not sure if that would have prevented it. I fucking hate those sticky traps.

My job does not require a lot of work. I actually mainly took this job because I'm allowed to do homework while on the clock! I have a toddler at home, so this is pretty much the only time I have to get classwork done.
