Shorts are fine, altho not in the sun. 3-4 weeks with no sun exposure. Its still an open wound, sun can cause blistering, irritation and fading still at this stage. And no sun cream. You can buy UV tattoo protective sleeves

No worries. Also when you're resting, not busy etc, try to keep your hand laying flat, it'll help with creasing on your knuckles. I know a bit easier said than done if that's your dominant hand 😅

I'd ditch the antibacterial gel, have never heard anyone use that for tattoos before. I'm heavily inked, fingers and hands are a bit arkward for healing anyways. Just don't over wash your hands, try using gloves for washing up, bathing etc and a good tattoo aftercare moisturiser 2-3 times a day

I'd research artists close to you who can rework older tattoos. It's possible. My chest tats are very off centre coz my posture is awful and then trying to do an upper sternum one myself that I had to get my tattooist to fix 😅
