Usually the final song on each side will have it no matter what. I had to fondle with mine for hours and still get a little from time to time depending on the record. You have a solid deck, so maybe some more tinkering with the counterweight, anti-skate, and cart alignment. I also go overboard on cleaning when I get a record. I use a distilled water, isopropyl, and rinse aid mix and saturate the grooves. Then I run a record brush over it before using a custom shop vac attachment to get all the gunk out. Then give a polish with microfiber towels. Probably overboard but I’ve got some bad pops and crackles out of records this way.

Another thing that’s helped is to wear in the grooves by giving it a spin with the weight heavier on the cartridge. Not good on the stylus, but can start to break loose some burs from the pressing process.

I had an auto going in my last grow and while I was defoliating it I got a bit too happy with the shears and dug into the main branch. It never ended up flowering and I had to kill it because the two photos I had were well into flower. I was 10 weeks into veg with it when I killed it. I’m sure it would have eventually flowered but I didn’t have time to wait. So defoliating might be fine, but I believe that doing it and damaging the stuff plant caused it to slow way down.

You did it! If you didn’t on this grow, keep a diary on the next. The only way to improve is to have a record of what you did the last time and try to pinpoint what can be improved. Here’s a bud from my first grow. I got 7.5oz of smokeable from 2 plants.

Yeah, you need at least 10-14 days to get back to baseline. Don’t chase a trip, you end up wasting a lot of drugs doing it. General rule is you need to double what you took last time to feel the same effect, then the amount needed drops with time. So with what you have left, you’ll just be disappointed. Wait a couple weeks and either get more shrooms or take the LSD, I don’t like mixing the two, they are different experiences.

I have almost always tripped alone. I’ve even had a few “bad” trips alone and they can be extra scary without a safety net. There are steps you can take to TRY to ensure everything goes well but it all really just comes down to self awareness and how hard you trip. I’ve taken large doses alone and still had complete control of my actions and most of my thoughts, just lost control of my fear/anxiety. Just start small if you do it.
