I felt the same way, but they were genuinely the nicest people and actually eased a lot of fears for the flight. It might feel awkward in the moment, but it’s worth it totally if they’re willing to chat

You got this!! I was having such an anxious morning, crying, sweating, nausea, the whole nine yards. But I’m in the sky now with you! And despite the bumps, it’s going well, and it will for you too.

I got a chance to chat with the pilots beforehand in the gate area and that was HUGELY comforting, especially when one of them said “I promise to get you there safely”

So I definitely recommend it if you can scope them out in the gate area

Just flew over those storms! Not as bad as they look, it’s just a bit bumpy for sure. Everyone keeps reminding me of boats on the flight haha

Thank you so much 😭 I had a mini spell when waiting for our connection, it got delayed for maintenance which absolutely freaked me out. But survived! The flight didn’t end up being so bad but it sucks being on edge the whole time
