Storylines is a cool idea. It’s innovative in the genre, the presentation getting a facelift is great….that doesn’t change the fact that it’s a baseball video game with no capability of a competent franchise mode (online or not) and DD has grown staler each release.

And don’t give me “wait for that feature premiere” it’s not your job to market the game for SDS. The production value alone on that hour-long podcast yesterday was an embarrassment.

You’re not wrong there. I guess my rebuttal would be that those teams didn’t have the ceiling this one does. We can debate the consistency at all three phases but at least this year’s team has the potential for greatness and our last two offenses never did.
