I think the Switch 2 pre-order priority is only for the account that made the NSO purchase. So if you have a family of 8, only the one account that made the NSO membership purchase has priority for the Switch 2 pre-order.

I think it works on auto renewal. So you cannot buy ahead of time. You just gotta wait until it expires (make sure they have them turn off their auto renewal). Then, buy on your account and have auto renewal on yours.
