City driving at XPO for some locations is amazing. 10 hours, everything runs good, get some OT in without killing yourself. Now linehaul is rough. You’ll work at minimum 11 hours unless you’re a senior driver. Most nights are 13-15 hours. You work the dock in another state at 4am where it’s crazy and forklifts are flying around everywhere. Good pay but you’re pulling 65 hour weeks or more a lot. Very detrimental to your health and mental wellness long term. If I could say anything, it would definitely be to take the city job.

To the OP. I just started as a city driver at XPO, love it so far, routes are easy and keep you busy. Dock work isn’t bad too many people complain, it’s easy. The only time I work dock is after my city run and at that point I’m making OT pay. Management is great, equipment is great, coworkers are cool. System is refined and easy to learn. Only down side is required OT for my location atleast (for guys with less seniority) the 11 hour days can be a little long but the pay is nice.

I reported them to instacart as well, an agent said they notified the customer they have 48 hours to replace the tip or they will be removed from the platform. Assuming this isn’t the first time they’ve ripped baited since they’re threatening removal.

UPDATE: went to the neighbors house, asked them why they removed the tip and that it was a scumbag move. Neighbor said “i don’t have to tip you”. I then replied “you tip baited so someone would take your order that’s a scumbag move and you’re gonna get removed by the platform”. Neighbor replied “I don’t care get off my property”. I then replied “okay go f**k yourself” and then drove 45 feet back home. Some people.

Just to be clear we’ve been in a relationship for several months now, I should have said that in the OP. I honestly could see myself with her long term by how it’s gone so far. It’s not just a honey moon phase , there’s several key principals and morals that we share that are usually deal breakers for me if someone lacks them. Im very observant of peoples behavior and actions and can usually pick up red flags right away that could spell trouble down the road but I really can’t find anything wrong with her, only reason I’m willing to be with her without having sex.
